By accessing or using VORCA ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including students, parents, teachers, and school administrators.

3. Description of Service

VORCA is an English vocabulary learning platform for students (CEFR levels A2–C1). The Service provides vocabulary instruction, writing practice, AI-powered feedback, progress tracking, and classroom tools for teachers and schools.

4. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
  • Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account

5. Access and Class Codes

VORCA is provided as a free learning service. Schools and teachers may issue class codes so students can join a class and share progress with their teacher.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Share account credentials outside your authorised class or school
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the Service
  • Submit harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content
  • Circumvent security or access controls

7. Content Usage and Intellectual Property

Vocabulary content, examples, design, and software are the intellectual property of VORCA and its licensors. You may not reproduce or distribute them without permission. Your writing submissions remain yours; you grant VORCA a limited licence to process and display them to deliver the Service.

8. Privacy and Data Collection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect account, learning, and usage data as described there to operate and improve VORCA.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated feedback is for educational guidance only and is not definitive.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VORCA shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
